The Miz gets a shirt! Brewers to giveaway custom t-shirt Aug. 10

Milwaukee Brewers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – The Milwaukee Brewers revealed a shirt design for rookie pitcher Jacob “The Miz” Misiorowski, with the giveaway happening on Aug. 10. The first 25,000 ticketed fans can choose between sizes medium and large to help celebrate the phenomenal start to his MLB career.

In his first five MLB starts, “The Miz” has a 2.81 ERA, 33 strikeouts, and the heat coming off his pitches average 99 MPH. He recently made MLB history again by being selected to pitch in the All Star game after just five starts.

The Brewers describe the design as an artist rendering of the rookie, with the nickname “The Miz” sprawled across the chest. On the sleeve, there is an image of a tulip, the official symbol of Parkinson’s awareness, a cause that is near to Misiorowski as his father is battling the disease. Misiorwoski honored his dad with customized cleats to raise Parkinson’s awareness in late June.

The shirt designer, Estevan Longoria, is a part of Lost Files Clothing and is from Racine, as well as a University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee alumni. Lost Files Clothing has worked with the Brewers for Tuesday T-Shirt Giveaway, a program that partners with local artists, which fans love!

With the first pitch at 1:10 p.m., fans are encouraged to go when the gates open and get their branded shirt of “The Miz.”
