The Hop announces return to regular service hours starting June 19

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Hop has announced their return to regular service hours starting Sunday, June 19.

They have been operating on a reduced schedule due to long-term maintenance on the vehicles.

The Hop is a transit network in Milwaukee that allows people to get from one place to another while also seeing the cultural, tourist attractions of Milwaukee.

Starting Sunday, June 19, The Hop's hours will be followed by the service times below:

Monday-Friday: 

  • Service Hours: 5:00 a.m. -- 12:00 a.m.
  • Frequency (Peak/Off-Peak): 15 min. / 20 min.

Saturday:

  • Service Hours: 7:00 a.m. -- 12:00 a.m.
  • Frequency (Peak/Off-Peak): 20 min.

Sunday:

  • Service Hours: 7:00 a.m. -- 10:00 p.m.
  • Frequency (Peak/Off-Peak): 20 min.

The Hop will also have hours that will accommodate those heading to Summerfest until the festival closes each night. The Hop is expected to have extended hours until 1:00 a.m. for all nine nights of Summerfest.

The Hop's Third Ward stations are just a 10-minute walk from the Summerfest grounds.
