MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — The Milwaukee Brewers have announced plans for a championship parade and rally Friday, Oct. 30, celebrating the franchise's first World Series title.

The championship parade will begin at 10 a.m. at North Fourth Street and West Wisconsin Avenue before traveling through downtown Milwaukee and ending at Henry Maier Festival Park.

A championship rally and fan festival will follow at the festival grounds. General admission to Henry Maier Festival Park will be free until capacity is reached.

The grounds will open to the public at 8 a.m. Fans will be able to watch live coverage of the parade on large video screens throughout the grounds, with live music and food and beverage options also available.

Tickets are required for seating inside the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during the championship rally speeches.

Season seat member presales begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, with tickets going on sale to the general public at 2 p.m. Net proceeds from amphitheater ticket sales will benefit Brewers Community Foundation.

Fans without amphitheater tickets will still be able to watch the rally speeches on video boards throughout the festival grounds.

Exclusive Brewers championship parade and rally merchandise will also be available during Friday's celebration.

The first 50,000 fans at the rally will receive a limited-edition championship rally towel courtesy of Associated Bank.
