MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A new, $400,000 investment is going into building unity across communities. Milwaukee leaders took the podium on Wednesday, Sept. 17 announcing the launch of "The Good Neighbor Grant Fund."
The program is designed to uplift grassroots leadership and strengthen connections throughout Milwaukee.
Funding will go toward block clubs, neighborhood associations and resident-led community projects -- helping fight some of the city's biggest issues.
"Nobody can do it alone," said Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson. "It's going to take all of us. It's going to take every single person working together in unison to create safer better stronger neighborhoods all across the city."
