Teen driving stolen vehicle causes crash near 27th and Townsend, 25-year-old seriously hurt

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Three people were seriously hurt in a crash involving a stolen vehicle near 27th and Townsend in Milwaukee on July 19. 

According to police, a 16-year-old male driving a stolen vehicle crashed into another vehicle around 5:50 a.m. 

The 16-year-old and his passenger, a 13-year-old boy, were transported to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-fatal injuries. 

The driver of the vehicle that was struck, a 25-year-old, was transported to treatment with serious but non-fatal injuries. 

The two teens were arrested. 

Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
