Suspected Man with Gun in Custody at Mississippi State

(CNN) A suspected gunman is in custody after reports of an active shooter at Mississippi State University in Starkville, the university said via its alert system Thursday.

Active shooter reported at Carpenter hall. Last seen in vicinity of Lee hall. Seek Safety immediately

There were no injuries immediately reported, and no reports of any gunshots being fired, the university said.
