NOW: Suspect in February 4 fatal hit-and-run turns himself in

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The suspect in the fatal hit-and-run that happened February 4 has turned himself in according to Milwaukee Police.

Juan Mata-Chavez turned himself in on Thursday, February 8. 

Police were looking for him after a pick truck driving east on Lincoln Avenue lost control and hit a Toyota Corolla driving west killing a 43-year-old woman and injuring her 13-year-old son.

The two passengers in the car had turned themselves into police. Both were released without charges.

Mata-Chavez has already been charged with operating a car with a revoked license causing death and hit-and-run resulting in a death.
