Suspect in custody after late night shooting

A suspect is in custody after a late night shooting on Milwaukee’s north side.   The Milwaukee Police report that the shooting happened around 11:30 PM in the area of N 27th and W Center Streets.    According to the report, a 61-year-old man was shot during an ongoing dispute with the suspect.   The Police say as the dispute escalated, the suspect went and got a gun and shot the victim.   The 61-year-old was treated on scene by MFD personnel and then transported to a local hospital with what is described as a non-fatal gunshot wound.
