Suspect fires gun at MPD officer nearly hitting him
A Milwaukee Police Officer is okay after an an armed suspect fired a gun at him nearly hitting him on Saturday, June 10, around 8:10 PM near 26th and Auer Avenue.
A plain clothes MPD officer was in the area conducting an investigation when the suspect fired a gun at him and then fled in a vehicle with another suspect.
MPD officers pursued the suspects in the vehicle until it crashed into a passing car near 12th and Lloyd Streets. The suspects then fled on foot and were arrested without further incident.
Several guns were located from the getaway car.
Three un-involved persons in the vehicle that was hit by the suspects sustained non-life threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital.
The suspects are a 24-year-old man and a 21-year-old man both from Milwaukee. They are both on probation/parole for armed robbery.
