Streets to close around Bradley Center Sunday ahead of roof demolition

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Streets will be closed around the Bradley Center Sunday morning as crews demolish the roof.

According to the Department of Public Works North Vel R.Phillips Avenue from West State Street to West Highland Avenue and West State Street from North Vel R. Phillips Avenue to North 6th Street will be closed to traffic on Sunday, January 13 from 6:00 am to 11:00 am.

Anyone expected to be traveling around the arenas is asked to drive slow and add extra time to their commute.

The actual roof demolition is expected to take place between 9 and 9:30 a.m. 

Interior demolition of the Bradley Center started at the end of last year and the entire demolition is expected to be complete by the end of the summer.
