MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Wisconsin State Senator Lena Taylor announced Tuesday morning she will run for Milwaukee mayor in 2020.
Taylor will challenge Mayor Tom Barrett. At a press conference, Taylor said Milwaukee needs a mayor to represent the entire city, not just downtown.

Taylor joins Alderman Tony Zielinski in the race to unseat Barrett. Taylor is an attorney and has been a state senator for more than a decade.
The election will be held in April 2020.
