MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Southwest Airlines customers at Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport are still looking for answers Wednesday, Dec. 28, and their lost bags after a chaotic holiday travel week.
Bags that once filled the carousels were taken to the Southwest baggage claim storage area. Now, customers are waiting in line trying to get questions answered about what to do next.
While not every customer has their luggage, there have been a few reunion moments which have been compared to a late Christmas miracle.
"I was very happy to find it, I knew she was super stressed about the whole situation, and just exhausted and had to come back to work today and all that so to be able to find it and bring it to her it was honestly more exciting than Christmas morning," said Abigail Dillon, traveler.
As of Wednesday morning, Southwest Airlines canceled more than 4,000 flights nationwide.
