Elm Grove honors fallen service members with Memorial Day Parade
We're in the middle of a mild and quiet holiday weekend; no complaints there. However, typical highs this time of year are closer to 70 degrees. Many will fall shy of that mark for Memorial Day Monday, especially up against the lake:

And if we fail to make it to 65 degrees--which I think will be the case--then this will go down as the coolest Memorial Day we have had in a dozen years!

Looking back over the last several, we've lucked out with some warmth for the unofficial start to summer:

In terms of extremes, Memorial Day can bring almost anything. We've been in the 90s before and we've been stuck in the 40s. It's also rained quite a few times.

So to have highs in the lower 60s isn't bad, it's just a bit unusual compared to the past handful of years. Don't worry, things look to be a lot warmer as we kick off the month of June next Sunday.
