After a stunning weekend rain is back in the forecast. A few of us may have seen some light rain showers or sprinkles Monday but it didn't amount to much. An isolated shower can't be ruled out for Tuesday morning and early afternoon but much better chances for rain arrive in the late afternoon and evening. Some heavy rain along with an isolated thunderstorm is possible Tuesday evening into Wednesday morning.
Light scattered showers will linger for most of Wednesday wrapping up in the evening. Most of southeast Wisconsin will see a good soaking rain with a quarter to three-quarters inch of rain likely for most of the area.
Rain chances are very likely Tuesday evening and for most of the day Wednesday. Another storm system will approach the area on Thursday with a chance for rain and snow showers, mainly in the evening. Friday and Saturday also have rain shower chances.
