Social Development Commission Milwaukee temporarily closes its doors to stop the spread of COVID-19

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Social Development Commission Milwaukee (SDC) has temporarily closed its doors until Monday, Jan. 3, 2022,  in an effort to help stop the spread of COVID-19. 

The organization announced its closure on Monday, Dec. 27. 

SDC provides resources to people facing poverty in Milwaukee.

Nutrition Services: 414-963-2684

Weatherization: 414-906-2727

Emergency Furnace: *call 211

Food Pantry: *call 211

Rent Assistance: For questions regarding SDC's Milwaukee Emergency Rent Assistance (MERA) Program, please contact the MERA Support team at [email protected] and we will respond upon reopening. The status of MERA applications can be viewed in the application portal anytime.
