The day after Christmas is one of the busiest days of the year for returning merchandise.
Shoppers packed the Kohl's in West Allis in hopes of getting rid of gifts that didn't work out so well -- items like clothes, shoes, makeup, and so much more.
According to the National Retail Federation, 17-percent of shoppers plan to return their gifts, or get them exchanged.
Other shoppers returned items purchased online on Amazon.
"Kohl’s offers for Amazon returns to be done right here, so we came and got it done quickly," said Rhonda Pile. "I got a 25-percent of coupon here at Kohl’s just for returning that, so now I'll go and spend some more money."
Meanwhile, some customers continued to shop for after Christmas Day deals. According to experts, 50-percent of shoppers will take advantage of those sales — others plan to shop online.
