Robbery suspect runs away after victim yells at him in Riverwest

Milwaukee Police tell CBS 58 a robbery suspect ran away after the victim yelled at him.

The incident happened near Burleigh and Booth in Milwaukee's Riverwest neighborhood. 

Police say the victim had just visited a gas station and had cash on him. The victim was looking at his cash and his phone when someone came up behind him and demanded the money.

The victim refused to hand over the cash at which point the suspect pulled out a gun, but did not point it at the suspect. The victim still refused to hand over the money and yelled at the suspect. The suspect then ran away through some yards.

Milwaukee Police searched the neighborhood with squad cars looking for the suspect but did not find him.
