Residents Hold a Rally on Milwaukee's North Side to Fight Crime

A group on Milwaukee’s North Side held a rally Friday to help stop crime.

This group started their rally at 3:00 PM on Friday and they are trying to get community members involved to improve these neighborhoods on the North side.

That means everything from reporting crimes to installing speed bumps to slow people down.

The group wants to get more people involved in neighborhood watches and encourage people to set up surveillance cameras outside their homes to keep an eye on the street.

Organizers say neighbors need to work with and help police.

There were several officers at the event to emphasize that partnership.

The group is planning to stay out here till 8 PM.
