WAUKESHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A registered nurse who admitted to stealing a patient's money at Waukesha Memorial Hospital appeared in court on Monday.
Jay Reiners, 33, faces one count of theft of movable property for the January theft.
According to a criminal complaint, Reiners told detectives he stole roughly $2,500 after finding out a patient came in with a large sum of money.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for May.
Reiners is being held on $1,000 cash bond.
