Ramirez says yes to 2015 option

Brewers third baseman Aramis Ramirez has decided to exercise his contract option for 2015, meaning the Brewers will have their All-Star third baseman back for another season.

Ramirez and the Brewers held a mutual option for $14 million for next season, which the Brewers exercised Friday.

Ramirez has been limited by injury the last few seasons, but was an NL All Star in 2014 and has hit 54 home runs in his three-year Brewers career. Ramirez also tallied 50 doubles in 2012. He'll be 37 years old at the end of next season.
