On this episode of Racine & Me, we take a look at the top headlines in the county, including an alcohol policy at the County Fair that has made it one of the safest in the state. We also get an update on the bluff erosion that's happening in Mount Pleasant.
Racine also has it's first ever magazine! It's called Belle City magazine, celebrating the good that is happening in the county. It was created and is run by a husband-wife team, Katie and Carl Matteson. It's a monthly magazine, free and available at more than 100 different locations. The link to the magazine's website is: http://www.bellecitymag.com/
And finally, we learned ways to get healthy with Birgette Christensen, who is a holistic practitioner. She discussed seven simple changes you can do to improve your health and also introduced us to a "tower garden." You can find more information on her here: www.happyhealthyway.net
