Visit Milwaukee preview: April 17-19
RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Art Museum's 17th annual Peeps Brand Art Exhibition opens Wednesday, April 1 and runs through April 18, featuring artwork made from or inspired by the iconic marshmallow candy.
Tyler Potter, the museum's marketing and communications specialist, joined us on Friday, March 20 to share more details.
The exhibition has drawn worldwide attention since launching in 2010, as artists of all ages and skill levels show off works using Peeps alongside other mediums like painting, ceramics, woodworking and 3-D printing.
New events surrounding the exhibition include a rooftop painting night at Hotel Verdant, a sensory-accessible family day, a kids' art camp and a closing-weekend carnival-themed fundraiser called Bunny Big Top on April 18.
