RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Guinness World Records Day is Thursday, Nov. 14, and thousands of people around the world are trying to add their name to the illustrious list.
That includes one young man in Racine, 12-year-old Alex Hart-Upendo, who decided to try tying the fastest bow tie ever today.
The previous record was 15 seconds, and Alex did it in just a little over eight seconds.
