CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bradford Beach, South Shore Beach and McKinley Beach are closed following a combined sewer overflow, according to data updated Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 7:39 a.m.
The City of Milwaukee Health Department manages daily water sampling and microbe analysis at the three public sites from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Staff integrate this sampling with data on recent rainfall and human-caused events in Lake Michigan or the watershed.
