MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Things got a little spooky in downtown Milwaukee earlier today, Oct. 25.Â
Families came out for the fourth annual Jack-o-Lantern Jubilee!Â
It took place at the Baird Community Commons, which has transformed into "Halloween Village." Kids decorated pumpkins, had their face painted and danced to Kid Boogie Down, a Milwaukee-based DJ.Â
Mickey and Minnie Mouse also made a special appearance!Â
An employee with Milwaukee Downtown, Daisy Perez, told us it's great to see all of the smiling faces.Â
"It's a great way to start the holiday season and have families come out, enjoy and celebrate a free event such as this one," she said.Â
Kids also took home free Halloween-themed goodie bags and pumpkins!Â
If you missed the jubilee today, don't worry, Halloween Village is open and free to the public until Halloween next Friday!Â
