Milwaukee Admirals off to hot start
MILWAUKEE, Wis.— There is a new team in town hoping to generate a new age of hockey in Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Power held their first formal press conference as an organization Monday at the Wilson Ice Arena in Milwaukee. The junior league team was relocated from Decatur, Alabama to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in April.
The Power named Milwaukee hockey great and former Admirals player, Fred Berry as head coach and general manager May 11.
The Milwaukee Power is a junior league team that plays in the competitive North American Tier 3 Hockey League. The league is renowned as being a stepping-stone to advancing student-athletes to collegiate and professional opportunities.
Tryouts for the Power will be held August 2nd-5th at Wilson Ice Arena.
