MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The casino experience isn't quite the same when the tables are closed. Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee had closed all the live table games at the beginning of the pandemic, but some of them are back!
Monday, Nov. 1, Potawatomi reopened the blackjack and roulette tables. But it wasn't just a reopening, it was a celebration!
After the official ribbon-cutting ceremony, some media personalities played a friendly game of blackjack and raised thousands of dollars for charity.
"It's that major milestone that, you know, that we've come back. We're here. We're prepared to move forward and continue to reopen all of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino to the regional market," said Dominic Ortiz, CEO and general manager of Potawatomi Hotel & Casino.
Baccarat, craps, and ultimate hold'em will return to the casino floor later this month.
