Police: Woman fatally hit by car near 76th and Denver

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a fatal accident that happened on Saturday, Aug. 7 near Denver and 76th.
According to Milwaukee police, a 50-year-old woman was struck by a car at 2:55 a.m.
The woman was transported to a local hospital and later died from her injuries.
The driver of the car, who was known to the victim, was arrested.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
