Police: Milwaukee woman seriously injured by gunfire while riding in car

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a 30-year-old Milwaukee woman seriously injured Thursday, Feb. 4.

Police say it happened around 1:10 p.m. near Achilles and Burleigh. 

The suspect fired several shots at a vehicle, striking the victim, who was a passenger. 

The victim was taken to MPD District Five, where medical assistance was requested.

She was taken to a local hospital and is said to be in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
