Police: Madison Woman Vandalizes Cadillac with Tire Iron
MADISON (CHANNEL 3000) A Madison woman vandalized a Cadillac with a tire iron Tuesday night, police said.
Madison police said Nicole P. Stevens, 34, was arrested after she significantly damaged a black Cadillac that was parked on South Bedford Street.
According to the report, witnesses saw Stevens swinging an object, which investigating officers believe was a tire iron. She smashed the car's headlights, taillights, rear window and mirrors. There were dents and scratches. The car's tires were slashed and flat.
Police said a man with whom Stevens had a relationship is believed to have been driving the Cadillac. Police couldn't immediately locate him.
Police also said an open bottle of liquor was found in Stevens' SUV.
Stevens was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and a driver possessing open intoxicants in a vehicle.
