Police Investigating Robbery in Grafton

On Wednesday, December 14, at approximately 5:16 PM, Grafton Police Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at Carlene’s Plaza Barbershop on Wisconsin Avenue. The victims reported that a single suspect entered the barber shop, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and demanded money.

The suspect is described as man, approximately 6’1’’ tall and 225 pounds. He was wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, black gloves and athletic style shoes.

The suspect approached a victim who had just received a haircut and was leaving and pushed him back into the establishment. The suspect then displayed a handgun and demanded money from the victim and owner of the barbershop.

The suspect hit one of the victims on the head with the gun but did not cause any significant injury and medical attention was refused.

A K-9 unit, from the Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office, was dispatched but due to weather and parking lot surface conditions, an accurate track of the suspect was not possible.

It is unknown how the suspect arrived and left the area. The investigation is active on ongoing.
