Two Milwaukee men were shot late Tuesday night as they were stilling on a porch on Milwaukee’s north side when two unknown individuals opened fire upon them. The Milwaukee Police Department said the shooting happened around 11:25 PM at N 28th and W Burleigh Streets. According to the MPD, the two men, a 25-year-old and 21-year-old, were sitting on a porch when two suspects began shooting at them. Witnesses told Police they heard at least nine shots fired. One of the victims was struck in the shoulder, the other in the lower legs. Both are being treated at a local hospital for what is described as non-life threatening wounds. The MPD is investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and attempting to identify the shooters.
