Police give more details on man who jumped off tour boat

Police and United States Coast Guard are still searching for a 47-year-old Milwaukee man who jumped off the Miss Wisconsin Tour Boat on the Milwaukee River in the Third Ward just after midnight Sunday morning.

The man jumped towards the end of the 90 minute party cruise. According to witnesses, the man appeared intoxicated and jumped into the water on his own accord. The man refused a to grab a life ring that was tossed to him. The man disappeared below the surface of the water and didn’t come back up.

It is the understanding of police that the man was on the boat by himself and police are searching for more information on him.

The man is identified as 5’ 6”, 155 pounds, with a shaved head, tattoos on both biceps and was last seen wearing a white tan top, dark pants and a brown fedora hat.
