Wet start to the last week of September
After a cold front brought strong to severe storms to southeast Wisconsin on Tuesday, the rest of the week will be quiet in comparison. We'll have plenty of sunshine through the morning today with scattered clouds developing in the afternoon. It'll be rather breezy today with frequent gusts of 20-25 mph with temps topping out in the mid 70s.

Nearly all of the area will be dry today, but we can't rule out an isolated shower or two sneaking into areas north of I-94 between 3-7pm as an upper level low pressure system lingers over the Great Lakes.

Those showers dissipate as the sun sets with dry weather expected for the rest of the week. Temperatures will remain seasonal in the mid 70s for most of the area through Friday before temps rise back into the 80s to start the weekend.

Along with the increase in temperatures on Saturday, you'll notice the humidity as well as dew points climb back into the low to mid 60s. Otherwise expect comfortable humidity levels for the rest of the work week.

Shower chances return for the second half of the weekend as the humidity exits. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
