Pewaukee Man Dies in Dane County Accident

A 49-year-old Pewaukee man was killed in a single vehicle accident early this morning in Dane County.  According to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office,  the vehicle the man was driving went through a T-intersection at State Highway 69 and County Road PB in the town of Montrose.  According to the DCSO, the 1997 Ford Expedition became airborne when traveled across the roadway and into a ditch.  The vehicle came to rest against a brick retaining wall.  The DCSO said the driver, who was alone in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office.  The accident happened around 1:45 AM.  The name of the deceased has not been released pending the notification of family members.
