Summerfest goers discuss getting into festival
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Roxz’s Resources & Awareness reported a growing need for pet food support, citing economic hardship as a driving factor behind a record number of requests.
Vicky Van Lare of the nonprofit joined us Tuesday, June 3 to talk about their efforts and an upcoming donation event.
The "Fill the Trailer of Pet Food" drive will take place Saturday, June 8 from 10 a.m. to noon at 1601 E. Oklahoma Ave. in Milwaukee. Donations requested include dry dog food without chicken, dog treats, dry and wet cat food, cat treats and both dry and wet kitten food.
