Pedestrian injured in hit-and-run near 46th and Burleigh, suspect arrested

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say the suspect in a hit-and-run near 46th and Burleigh has been taken into custody. 

A witness who saw the accident followed the suspect vehicle and called police. Officers located the 50-year-old driver and vehicle. The suspect was arrested for hit and run and operating a vehicle while under the influence. 

The victim suffered head trauma and other non-life threatening injuries.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Police say a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run near 46th and Burleigh Friday, Jan. 31.

The victim was taken to Froedtert Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time.
