MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee organization that fights sex trafficking got a big financial boost on Wednesday.
"I think most people are shocked when they learn that Milwaukee is nationally recognized as one of the leading hubs for sex trafficking and exploitation," said Pathfinders President & CEO Tim Baack.
Pathfinders works with young people to prevent exploitation. On Wednesday, the organization learned it is getting $100,000 as the "charity of choice" from the Potawatomi Casino's "Heart of Canal Street" campaign.
The money will be used for Pathfinders' regular services and to raise awareness.
