HARTLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) – A former part-time Waukesha school district employee accused of spending more than $30,000 in district funds could be charged.
The Hartland-Lakeside School District says the employee spent the money on personal items like Apple watches, lawn decorations, and Halloween costumes and gave some of the stuff to district staff members as gifts.
The employee had been on administrative leave since November and resigned last week.
