Temperatures Tuesday morning ran about 5-10* warmer than Monday morning with no concerns for frost. Clouds kept us on the milder side Tuesday morning and the mostly cloudy sky will remain through much of Tuesday with a few peeks of sun. Highs Tuesday will reach the upper 50s for the fourth day in a row. Most days over the next week have trended just a touch warmer with highs in the upper half of the 50s to around 60 the rest of this week.
We have one more chance for some patchy frost before overnight lows warm up. Depending on how much the clouds clear we could get some patchy frost in a few southwest counties. The clearer the sky, the colder temps get and the better our chances for frost are so if the clouds stick around frost won't be as likely.
Even though we deal with some decent clouds Tuesday it is still dry and even Wednesday is mostly dry with only a chance for showers Wednesday evening in our southern counites near the IL border. Rain already looks likely on Thursday as well as Friday.
Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to track the temps the rest of the week and our eventual rain chances.
