A 39-year-old man is dead after a crash at 27th and Layton Ave.
It happened around 6 Monday night. Greenfield police say the car struck the light pole. The driver died as a result of the accident.
Layton Avenue between 27th and 28th streets was closed for three and a half hours while Greenfield Police worked with the Wisconsin State Patrol to reconstruct the accident. Police say a medical condition may have caused the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
