MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee's Bronzeville neighborhood is celebrating its rich culture and history with a week of arts, culture, "Lunch and Learn" events, trolley rides, fashion shows and more. It's a mix of the vibrant businesses that make up the community. 

Confectionately Yours Cafe and Bakery is one of those businesses. For more than a decade, Adija has been serving up sweet treats and pursuing her passion for baking. The last four of those years have been spent at this location on Historic MLK Drive in Bronzeville. Now, over the last few months, she's partnered with another chef in the community to bring the savory treats to her space.

They've quickly become known for their egg rolls and steak bagels along with the caramel cakes. 

This Monday, Aug. 3, Confectionately Yours will be hosting a" Lunch and Learn" event run by Alderwoman Milele Coggs. The topic of the event is "Leveraging Culture for Economic, Social & Political Impact."
