UPDATE: Names released in Dodge County deadly crash

UPDATE (CBS 58) -- The Dodge County Sheriff's Office has released the names of those involved in Sunday's deadly head-on crash.

The accident happened on State Highway 60 near Jefferson Road in Rubicon shortly after 11:00 a.m. The initial investigation shows 46-year-old Robert Underwood, of Horicon, was traveling east on 60, but in the westbound lane of traffic. Beverly Vincent (64), of Iron Ridge, was traveling west on 60 and the two crashed head-on.

The Dodge County Medical Examiner pronounced Vincent dead at the scene. A passenger in her vehicle, 65-year-old Bryan Vincent, sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene to Froedtert Hospital. Underwood suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital.

This incident remains under investigation.

RUBICON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- On Sunday, September 17 at 11:11 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car  crash on State Highway 60 near Jefferson Road in Rubicon.

Authorities believe a Toyota SUV was driving east on Highway 60 in the westbound lanes. A Chevrolet SUV was driving west on the same highway when the two crashed.

The driver of the Chevy was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the Chevrolet sustained life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight For Life to Froedert Hospital. The driver of the Toyota SUV sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Hartford Hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
