Hales Corners Police Officer injured after squad car struck near 108th and Grange

HALES CORNERS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- An officer was treated for injuries after her squad car was hit near 108th and Grange on Saturday morning.

According to the Hales Corners Police Department, officers were responding to a call for service near that intersection around 7:13 a.m. when a vehicle disregarded a red light and struck one of the Hales Corners squad cars.

The officer was taken to a local hospital where she was treated for her injuries.

The driver of the striking vehicle was uninjured and is currently cooperating with the investigators. 

The crash is being investigated by the Greendale Police Department.
