St. Francis Police warn of suspicious shoveler

ST. FRANCIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – St. Francis Police are warning residents about a man who’s been going door-to-door offering to shovel driveways for money.

Police believe he may be casing homes to see if people are there, as well as checking car doors to see if they’re locked.

The suspicious shoveler is described as a white man in his late 20’s to early 30’s, about 6’5”, wearing a tan Carhart jacket and carrying a shovel.

A similar incident was reported in Cudahy recently. Anyone who notices suspicious activity is asked to call police.
