MILWAUKEE-Sheriff Clarke released new video from inside a deputy squad car.

It shows a belligerent man, verbally harassing deputies after nearly killing them and himself in a high speed crash.

\"He has become our symbol because he is the 1,000 offender in a very short period of time,\" Clarke said Tuesday, \"It's not the 1,000 drunk driver. It's the 1,000 repeat drunk driver.\"

Only one of the two deputies who were injured that night returned to work.

The additional deputies will start Wednesday and will maintain saturated patrols through Sunday.
