BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) – Brookfield Police are asking for help to find a man who they say stole close to $800 worth of alcohol from a grocery store.
Investigators say on Friday, December 8 around 5:00 p.m. they responded to the Pick N’ Save on W. Greenfield Avenue in the City of Brookfield for a retail theft.
According to police, a man pushed a shopping cart containing $781.97 worth of alcohol out of the store without paying for it. The man was with a woman who was seen on surveillance cameras selecting alcohol from the shelf.
Police have released a surveillance photo of the man. Both suspects were seen leaving in a 2015 red Chevy Cruze with Wisconsin plates AAM-2570. Anyone with information is asked to call the City of Brookfield Police Department at 262-787-3702.
