MPS To Hold Community Meeting

Milwaukee Public Schools want to make some big changes.

MPS is moving forward with plans to implement one district school year calendar with an early start date.

Next school year would start the second week in August and end in late May.

They'll need approval from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction first.

Tonight you can make your voice heard about the plan at the first of a number of public hearings.

Monday's community meeting starts at 6:30 at Bayview High School
