MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Police Department released body and dash camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that happened on Sept. 17. 

The incident took place late Wednesday night, when police say a driver ran from a traffic stop on foot near 11th and Greenfield. 

A chase ensued and during the pursuit, the suspect dropped a firearm and attempted to retrieve it at which time an officer fired his weapon, hitting the 21-year-old suspect. 

The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Kenneth Cubero, who now faces criminal charges in connection.
