MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- CBS 58 Morning News anchor Mike Curkov is ready for his on-stage debut in the Milwaukee Repertory Theater's 'A Christmas Carol' this Friday, December 13th at 7pm.
Earlier this week, Curkov visited the Milwaukee Rep's costume shop to be fitted for his Victorian-era, Dickensian clothing.
While at the Rep, Curkov spoke with associate director Jonathan Helter about the lasting impact 'A Christmas Carol' has after 49 years of performances in Milwaukee, and more than 180 years after Charles Dickens wrote it.
"I think it's one of those things where people need to remember what the true meaning of the season is." said Helter. "I think we get a little too caught up with maybe materialism or the things of this world and it's like hey, maybe it's better to give than to receive."
